Tidings from the Warp

Hey guys, sorry for the long delay lately. Since just prior to Christmas last year its been super busy for me most days and it was difficult to find much time to post. This should all be over next week though as the deadline my taskmasters at work have been whipping us over will be done and finished then and i will be back to posting more every day as before :) Obviously there has been a lot of news coming about the Tyranid release, and some grumbling over the actual rules that will be released. All this stuff has been covered plenty lately so i wont rehash it all. Natfka has had great coverage on all things Nids for months now and has all the information for those looking for it at: http://natfka.blogspot.com/ Some news that hasnt been covered so much as of now is the release of some new Horus Heresy stuff that is coming. More details on that are below :)

So just released by Forge World today are the World Eaters Red Butchers Terminators. As I'm sure most agree, nearly all of the Legion-specific specialist units that have been released by FW have been very nice models. The Red Butchers come armed with some mean looking power axes, while the squad leader looks like he has some sort of hybrid chainfist/powerfist/claw sort of weapons.
Along with the Red Butchers, there was also Calas Typhon who was released a few weeks back too. His model i think makes a great replacement of the current Typhus model for those who are finding the GW version a bit long in the tooth at this point. I think most of the FW characters for existing Chaos characters are generally better at this point by quite a bit. Also on the cards for release soon is a Legion Medusa artillery tank, but when that will be up for sale i don't know as of yet.
Anyways that was the little news that i did have, I will definitely be glad to get back to a relatively normal workload next week so that i can get back to posting more stuff for you guys. I also finally bought a table for my house and its in the process of being painted, so once that is done I will hopefully be able to get more battle reports going on a more frequent basis. :)
