Hey guys. A little bit of news from Forge World today as they have now released the Heresy-era pattern of the Land Raider Achilles for sale. More pictures can be seen at the link here; http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/ACHILLES-ALPHA_PATTERN_LAND_RAIDER.html This one may not be to everyone's tastes as not all I've talked to really liked the MkII pattern Land Raider, but I think it still looks pretty awesome.
Armed with 2 twin linked multi-melta sponsons on each side, and a thunderfire cannon as its main weapon, this thing packs a heavy punch. I'm not sure if this iteration also still has the ceramite plated armor like the current M41 version, but I would assume its about the same. This is a pretty nice heavy hitter for those who might be looking for one to add to their power-armored armies. :)
Fun articles for tabletop wargamers across the world, from thoughtful articles on rules and rumours, to fun projects like army collections, conversions and painting techniques. Primarily a Warhammer 40,000 blog, but often ranging across other games such as Warhammer Fantasy, BFG, etc. Theres something here for everyone.
