The time has finally come for the Warmaster, Horus Lupercal, to make his appearance on the tabletop. Currently available for preorder, this model is another stunningly detailed and imposing example of the Primarchs' capabilities. More beautiful pictures follow below.
Here's the link for anyone interested in checking out additional pictures and info on this incredible model: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/HORUS_THE_WARMASTER_PRIMARCH_OF_THE_SONS_OF_HORUS.html
Stood atop a mound of Imperial rubble, Horus is definitely - In my opinion - the best Primarch so far released. Even for those who don't play Luna Wolves or Sons of Horus, this model looks glorious. From the ornate details of the wolves head on the armor Horus bears, to the wicked Talon and Mace he wields, every inch of this model screams power and indomitable will.
The Eye of Horus stands out strongly on the black armor plates. The wolve cloak draped over his right shoulder is a nice touch also, although I'm curious to wonder if this may accidentally upstage Leman Russ when he is eventually released. :)
The Talon of Horus is definitely a wicked-looking weapon when wielded by the man himself. I have a feeling that, even for people who don't play 30k, a lot of Chaos Players may likely purchase this regardless. Overall brilliant model yet again. Now the big question will be who comes next......
