Hey guys, I apologize for the long layoff, I have yet again been super swamped with work lately, but today i managed to find some interesting news regarding a new Forge World Superheavy in the works. The latest blog shows a teaser image of the model being worked on, likely before going to molding, and it looks like this could be an interesting one. Better pics and a few ideas below.....
So first thoughts are, this is likely going to be a Legion Falchion Superheavy tank. If you notice the main gun off to the right of the image on the table next to the hull it looks very similar to the picture above (which is that of a Deathguard Legion Falchion superheavy tank). Based on the size of those turret pieces, this looks like a really beefed up armored unit. You know how big something is when it makes the Spartan thank chassis next to it look small....
Figured I'd add this picture also as a good comparison between the FW model shown, and what a previously converted Falchion looks like. Gun looks almost identical in a lot of ways.
Anyways, here is my last theory, likely the least accurate, but nevertheless a possibility based on all the Mechanicus stuff we have saw released lately, is that we could end up getting a Mechanicus superheavy of some sort. What do you think? Legion Falchion or a Mechanicus superheavy of some kind? Either way this looks like it will be a scary sized tank to stare down on the table top :)
