40k MOBA Game Incoming!

Some interesting news in the realms of video games today. A newly announced 40k video game title has been announce. Dark Nexus Arena is a MOBA game along similar lines to games juggernaut; League of Legends, and is set in a Dark Eldar Arena of Death. The game is planned to be opened for Early Access in the 2nd quarter of 2015. Here is a link to the games website; https://www.darknexusarena.com/. 3D Printing: The future of Wargaming?

After looking on the web recently for some good GW alternative models for BFG and Epic 40k, I discovered something very interesting. Not only is there a plethora of 3rd party bitz and model manufacturers, but there is also some really interesting potential in the realms of 3D printing nowadays. Obviously I don't mean the infamous "Red Dreadnaught" above, I mean other models, specifically of smaller kinds. But after seeing the things available as i have lately during my internet search, there is definitely a growing professional community of talented 3D designers and modellers that can produce some truly great quality, and for a very reasonable price. FW Stormhammer up for preorder

Today, Forge World has put up the mighty Stormhammer Super-heavy tank kit for preorders. Here's a link to see much more pics of this behemoth; http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/New_Stuff/STORMHAMMER.html. Its rules are featured in book 4 of the Horus Heresy campaign, but don't be surprised if you see an updated set for 40k games sometime not too far in the future. For the money, this is probably one of my favorite new super-heavy kits they have produced. If you are looking for a tank that is all about the firepower, then this is one to get. :)

Eternal Crusade Delayed yet again......

Some troubling news from the makers of Eternal Crusade surfaced recently. For those who have yet to hear about the delay to Early Access, the article about it can be read here; https://www.eternalcrusade.com/news/398-State-Of-The-Crusade . Originally supposed to be released late last year, that deadline couldn't be met, but Founders didn't mind. It's all to make a better game after all. But now the deadline of Q1 2015 has also been reneged on, all the way till 'Autumn 2015" sometime. Normally I'm not troubled by delays with games as its normal, but here's why i find this slightly troubling...

Plastic Horus Heresy models coming?

Big rumors have surfaced overnight regarding what we will see in the coming months at our local GW stores, and they are exciting to say the least. It looks like we may be seeing Horus Heresy plastics start to be released in GW stores in the near future! I for one am very curious to see how this is going to turn out. More thoughts and details below. 

New Deathwing trailer!

A new trailer for the upcoming Space Hulk: Deathwing game has been revealed today. Here's a link the the video on IGN. http://www.ign.com/videos/2015/02/13/space-hulk-deathwing-rise-of-the-terminators-trailer Its looking really good, and since this one will be released both on PC and next-gen games consoles, this is a sure buy for me :). The graphics look awesome. Curious about how the game itself will play but I am pretty sure i remember reading that this is going to be a shooter, so it could be a really interesting co-op game. :)

The Crimson Fist released!

Some news fresh from Forge World today. The latest in the character series for the Horus Heresy has been released. Alexis Polux of the Imperial Fists. It'll be interesting to see what comes next from Forge World.
