Hey guys, I apologize for the long layoff, I have yet again been super swamped with work lately, but today i managed to find some interesting news regarding a new Forge World Superheavy in the works. The latest blog shows a teaser image of the model being worked on, likely before going to molding, and it looks like this could be an interesting one. Better pics and a few ideas below.....

Things I've Been Working On!
Sorry for the long absence, work has been killer! That said, I have been able to get some killer hobbying done!
I've mostly been working on my Armies on Parade board which got off to an interesting start! For starters, my local GW had a contest for a single miniature that I got in on last minute, though it was convenient that I had been working on a Tau Commander that suited the requirements just fine, so....guess I am doing Tau for AoP!
Anywhoo, here is the commander, along with the coming Shas'vre that will be accompanying him (or maybe another Shas'o, haven't decided).

This was my first time at the OSL, and though I am pleased with much of it, I am not done just yet with some more finishing touches that need to be completed.
The following two images are very much based on the work of Resv from Advanced Tau Tactica Online, with some personalizations.

More soon!

40k Storm of Vengeance Beta Now Up
Not sure how many people had heard of this game recently, but there was some small mentions of it across the net a while back. The Warhammer 40,000 based game; Storm of Vengeance is now available on Steam for Beta access for a mere $9.99. Check out the link here for a video and more info on the newly released game. http://store.steampowered.com/app/254650/ From what i know, the game is a bit hard to describe as a genre, but is described as a lane based game with more in common with a game like Plants VS Zombies, but looks like it may be an interesting one to play.

New Forge World Mechanicum release.
Some exciting new stuff out of Forge World today with the release of Mechanicus Myrmidon Destructors. These guys are really cool and i think that this Army may actually be the best thing to come from the Horus Heresy in the long run, as it is not general Space Marine stuff like we are used to. These guys fit a dual purpose, in that it could be Dark Mechanicum or regular loyalist in 30k, but now, potentially in the near future, we may get a 40k rules set for these mysterious priests of Mars. Many people have wanted legit Mechanicum stuff for quite a long time now, and its really nice to finally see some of these units realized as models....

New Dread Claw Drop Pod sighted. (and more)
Hey guys, a quick bit of new from Forge World this morning. A newly designed Dread Claw Drop Pod is now available for preorder on the Forge World Website. This is more to the scale of the old design, and is not as large as the Kharybdis Assault Claw that was recently released, but it is still nonetheless slightly larger than a standard drop pod. I have a feeling that a lot of people will probably pick up this as many players lamented the loss of the last model Forge World carried for this. Some more pictures of this can be seen on the FW website below

Kharn The Bloody up for Preorder
Hey guys, this isn't exactly breaking but i felt the need to post, as its a really nice release to finally have. So the team at Forge World have finally released the Horus Heresy vision of Kharn. This has been an eagerly awaited release for both 30k and 40k players alike, as the current model of Kharn is - despite still being a good model - getting a bit long in the tooth. A better look at this release can be seen below.
